Chef Steven, a culinary perfectionist and BBQ smoke grill master.
Steven trained at the CCSF Culinary Arts department before going into fine dining in SF. He started his career in pastries before
discovering his affection for BBQ. Our menu reflects multiple regions of BBQ, from the Texas high and low country, North Carolina,
Kansas City, and South Carolina’s goldbelt region of BBQ.
We honor the process of American BBQ, using whole logs and a J&R Manufacturing smoker hand made in Mesquite, Texas to cook ourmeats. When possible we source local produce and meats, and believe in respecting every ingredient that we use. All of our meat is
trimmed and rubbed in house, all of our sides, sauces, rubs, dressings, and desserts are made from scratch. We strive for a zero landfill
impact, and all catering pans and serving utensils are recyclable, while our plates, napkins, and eating wares are all compostable.
